Clodagh Mc Govern chose Westport to establish her state of the art Opticians as she is a native to the area.A highly experienced optometrist, Clodagh qualified in Cambridge as a Dispensing Optician with an honours degree in Optical Management and followed this with an honours degree in Optometry in DIT Dublin. In September, Clodagh spent two weeks in Zambia supporting her nominated charity - Vision Aid Overseas undertaking eye tests and dispensing glasses.

Awards - Recently Eye World was recognised as having one of the 'Best Shop' frontages in Westport. Eye World was also one of the finalists for 'Best Retail Premises' and 'Customer Service' Awards by Mayo County Council.
